About Us

Established in 2001, the Youth Advocacy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization and non-profit arm of the state juvenile defenders office, whose mission is to end the school-to -prison pipeline in Massachusetts by ensuring that our state’s most vulnerable children have access to expert education advocacy. We do this by training and supporting the 1,000 attorneys statewide who represent the 20,000-25,000 kids who become involved the juvenile court system each year.
